friday, saturday, sunday

I can absolutely say that this has been a wonderful weekend. It started off friday with that Lena and I were sooo bored in school. Therefore we decided to make a plan for the day. On our plan we had ten things that we wanted to do whereof six of them included eating. We started off with eating tortillachips with beans and cheese during the breakfastbreak. Haha I actually love rice and beans after two months here (yes I've almost been here for two months, sick!). Our second thing was to eat lunch at my place after school, so so we did. But after that our plan kind of got a bit screwed up. While we were eating it started raining and since we lovelovelove the rain we decided to go for a walk without shoes and umbrella. We walked to a cafe, sat down soaking wet, ordered a hot chocolate and a doughnut, ate, payed, and began walking home. Back home we put on some dry clothes and took some wonderful pictures. After an hour or so we went to our favourite cafe here to share two milkshakes and a brownie. We sat there for hours and hours, and had so much fun. When the cafe was about to close we went to the supermarket across the street and bought dooritos. We went back to my place, ate dinner, went to Lorenas house, talked, ate chocolate, talked for a little bit more, went home, made caramell popcorn and watched a movie. I think I've never ever eaten so much food in my entire life, but we had a great time doing it and I think that's the most important thing. I'm not here to be on a diet.

On saturday we went up quite early to go to Samara. With bus it takes about one hour to go to samara and it doesn't cost that much at all. I think it's about 15 swedish kronor. We got there, talked a lot with her family, ate lunch, and went to the beach together with her hostsister Elis. The waves were so scary and Lena got caught in one and was pressed forward and down on the seashells.. I can not even imagine how much that must have hurt. Later, we ate dinner at her place, got ready, and went out together with her hostmum, a guy from our class, and two other boys we know here. We stayed until about 1:30 or something, went home, and slept.

Sunday morning we woke up at 7:00 to get ready to go to Nicoya. There we met the other exchange students and their families and together we all went to a place far far away. We went out into the middle of nowhere to a farm or something, I don't really now what to call it, but in spanish you say una finca. Anyways,  we all got a horse each and went out on a little tour for two hours or so. It was amazing, we rode pass small rivers, a lot of trees, a lot of animals, yeah, a lot of cool stuff. Among others we saw a dead armadillo, a small crocodile, beautiful white birds and of course, iguanas. In addition to that, just the horsebackriding was so cool. It's definitely very different here from in Sweden, it is all western style and crazy, and I absolutely love that. So this weekend has been really cool, and I can't wait until friday when we will go on our first discovery tour!
