A quick update:
Had no lessons today (yesterday neither) so just chilled with my classmates in the schoolarea. It gets kind of boring after a couple of hours but I still love it. I like my classmates a lot and I always have someone to talk to so I get to practise a lot of Spanish too. After school I went with Hellen, Ahmed and Yasser to Las brisas to celebrate that yasser passed the bachilleratos. It's like a national test they do that is the only thing that matters for if they pass or not pass high school. It's kind of brutal and I saw many in my school today that were upset because they didn't pass.
Tomorrow will probably be kind of like today in school. And on Thursday and Friday I'm going to Rio Celeste with my class. After that I have vacations until the beginning of February. Nicenicenice.

fabulous
I've had a fabulous week and that is the one and only reason I've got for not writing that much. Next week is the last week in school and it kind of makes me sad because I like in school. I meet new people everyday and I've made some really good friends that I'm going to miss during vacations. Sure, I can see them then too, but since they live quite far away and the bussystem is not the best I won't be able to see them as often as I would like.
Yesterday I went rollerskating with Yailin and it was so much more fun than I would have ever imagined. We were dangerous and went straight into the wall multiple times, crashed with others and fell in the middle of the curves. Haha almost got run over a couple of times there... But all of the time we were laughing like I don't know what. Now afterwards I'm surprised I haven't tried it before, and I've decided to go next week too.
In an hour I'm going to Liberia with my sister to see the new twilight movie. Haha we've been so excited for this for like two weeks.
Aaand, I've received a package from Lovisa! The letter made me cry and the chocolate was the best thing I've eaten for a long time. <3 Love story <3

Puppyyyyy!!
When I came home from school three dogs were waiting for me at the door. I asked Anita who was the owner of the third one, the teeny tiny supercute black puppy, and she told me it was my sisters. I can't even describe how happy that made me. So now I have a one month old puppy to cuddle with all days after school. iiiiiiiiihhhh!!! :D
School today was good. I did a chemistry test (went shit, skipped half of the test because I had absolutely no idea what to write) and an english test. I don't do the tests here because I have to or because it matters for my grades or anything, I kind of just do it to be a part of the class. And to have something to do all day in school of course.

Schoolschoolschool
Today I woke up at 4:45 as usual, took a shower, ate breakfast, and walked to the schoolbus. In school I did a biologytest, which actually went really good (kind of hoping for 100% on this one), had a couple of classes and a lot of breaks. Took the bus home, studied Spanish, washed my clothes, ate, watched Greys Anatomy, and now I'm going to iron my uniform for tomorrow. Just a normal day.
Saturday
Saturday I woke up, sat down under a tree in the garden and studied Spanish for a while and a couple of hours later got chased by the geese back up to the house. My sisters friend Laura asked me if I wanted to go to Conchal so around 11 we started walking in the sun. When we got there I was surprised because compared to a week ago there were a lot of people there. I can't even imagine how it will be in December when the tourists come.
Later I went with Hellen, Laura and Quinn to Playa Flamingo to see the sunset. It's more beautiful than any picture can ever show, simply amazing. In the evening we all went to a dance in Villarreal (where I go to school too). It was so so so cool. I've missed dancing.

Internet back! Thursday - Mathtest and burial
I haven't had internet now for almost a week so I haven't had any chance to update the blog, so now I'm going to do the very best I can to fill you in about everything that has happened.
I'll start with Thursday.
The day started off with a mathstest, I had been at two mathlessons before the test so I didn't know a shit. It was a strange feeling sitting there not having any idea what to answer. I just guessed wildly on every single question feeling a bit embarrassed but knowing that the grades from this won't mean a thing.
After this one lesson the entire class went in taxi to a cementary nearby. The granddad of one of my friends had died and we all went there to support her. Apparently it's very common here that friends of the relatives go to the burial even though they've never met the person who have past away. Since this isn't that usual in Sweden I was kind of surprised, but now I feel like it's so stupid that we don't do this in Sweden. I mean, it was so easy to just go there to give her a hug, but it probably ment a lot for her.
After this I took the schoolbus home (everyone was so nervous because I was the only one going on my bus and we didn't know if the buses would stop for us. If it wouldn't have stopped I would have had to walk all the way home because I didn't have any money with me. Haha "What do we do if Fridas bus is the last one and it doesn't stop for her". Though, when the schoolbuses came it all went well and we all got home safe.
In the afternoon I went to Playa Brasilito and in the evening I went to see a soccergame in Huacas together with my hostsister and some of her friends.

Weekend in Orotina
Went to visit my good friend Bram in Orotina this weekend. I got to know his supersweet hostfamily, Orotina (which is actually exactly like every other Costa Rican city, in the center there is a park, which also always look the same, a big catholic church and some shops and bakeries) and Playa Jaco. We went there Saturday and got burned burned burned. There we ate lunch at a soda, in Costa Rica there are good sodas everywhere and they all sell almost the same things for a good price. Standard is quesadillas, burritos, nachos and casadas. Haha superhealthy...
Sunday we went to a pool in Orotina and just chilled there all day together with Brams hostbrother, hostcousin and her friend. In the evening we sat and talked for a long time with his hostparents about everything and nothing and later saw a movie with his brother. All the time I was just hoping for their dog to get her puppies, the vet had said that they would be born approximately this Monday and I really wanted to be there when they came. Have to text Bram to see if they're born yet.
Even though I didn't get to see any puppies it was a great weekend.

Better late than never - Panama trip!
Now I finally took the time to post something about the Panama trip! Heh, just like more than a month later... But better late than never!
We went on a dolphin-tour. Didn't get any great picture cuz I was always too slow, but we had about three or four dolphins just ten meters away from the boats so it was really cool.
I absolutely loooved Bocas del toro, and would have loooved to spend more days there (especially as the trip was so long). Panama is a beautiful country and I hope I can return some day. I've gotten so close to the other exchange students so it actually doesn't matter what we do on these trips, we always have fun and we always have the time of our lives. Definitely friends for life.
Now, I don't even remember everything that happened in Panama so if you would like to know more, Bram wrote about it on his blog right after the trip. Press here to come to that post.
We had a wonderful dinner in a small restaurant the last night in Bocas del toro. None of us had brought a camera so I asked the ones at the table next to us to take a picture and send to me by e-mail. Miss this.

We spent a lot of hour in the bus there and back. So much fun though.
And when we got to Panama we spent a lot of time in boats instead. Fun but chilly.
Tired from the all night long busride. We went from San Jose (before that atleast I had a four hour bustrip from Nicoya) at about 11 in the evening I think and got to the border of Panama at 5:30, then we had to wait for a couple of hours until the border opened, so we got to the boat at 9:00 I think. Un pichazo de horas (hah Yulissa taught me that word today :P ).
We spent an afternoon on "Starfish beach" which is the home of a lot of big starfishes. So sad Bram's waterproof camera didn't work.Otherwise we would have had some awesome pictures from that place. With the starfishes. Well well, no matter if I have a picture or not I held a biiig starfish in my hand. So cool.
We bought bbq-meat on the street because we were soooo hungry before dinner.
Yum!

Dia del estudiante
Today in school it was "el día del estudiante" (students day) which was celebrated with no lessons, no schooluniforms and some activities. It was nice. My class had bought cake, ice-cream and a pinata so we went away from the activities for a while in the middle of the day to have a moment just the class itself. It was really cozy and funny because first we couldn't really find a way to get the pinata up and later we used the ropes as skipping-ropes. Haha, yes, it was fun.
After school I went together with two girls in my class to Playa Tamarindo. We went to a pool there that has a beautiful view, ate at subway, and walked on the beach in the sunset. So, I had a really nice day, I like my new school, class and friends a lot. Now that I'm the only exchange student in my school (ok there's another one but he's not from EF and not in my class so i barely notice him) it's a lot easier to make friends, and of course to speak spanish all of the time too.
Only bad thing today; didn't celebrate the international hug an exchangestudent day properly. Well well, I can just do that some other day instead.
